I started my hunting career at an early age. When I was just a
youngster, my father introduced me to the great outdoors, and started an obsession
that has grown ever since.
I grew up in a small, rural town where hunting is a way of life. Even the local school system shuts down during the first week of rifle season! Gotta’ love that! It was there that my father gave me a passion and love for the outdoors. He
taught me that hunting wasn’t just about harvesting an animal. It is the preparation,
the time spent with friends and loved ones, and the sights and sounds found only
in the timber. It is the sum of many wonderful things. I owe a lot to my dad for
giving me this gift that means so much to me. It will last my entire life.
I enjoy telling my stories with the written word. My hope is that the reader will
be taken away, and maybe he/she will feel like they are standing right there beside
me when the trigger breaks. I am a full time Physical Education Teacher and I love
to spend my spare time engaged in the wilderness in one way or another. My passion
is Bow Hunting, but any time spent with family and friends in the out-of-doors,
is a great time. There is so much waiting on us beyond the pavement.
When I am 20’ up a tree, I just marvel at all that God has created. I thank him
for the experience, and everything he has given me.
